Types of attachment
In 21.AbaNinja, you can generally store the bank details of all Swiss banking institutions and use them for invoicing or paying bills. We offer a permanent and/or temporary bank connection for over 80 banks. We explain the differences here:
Permanent
Once set up, account transactions are retrieved from your bank on a daily basis. Provided the amount and reference number match, the system automatically reconciles outstanding invoices and receipts. This means you can see straight away in 21.AbaNinja which of your customer invoices are still outstanding and pay them at the touch of a button. This eliminates the need to log in to your online banking manually. The permanent bank connection is available from the Basic subscription onwards.
Temporary
Unlike the permanent connection, a new login is required each time you synchronise with your bank. This login, which uses your contract number and password, is similar to the login for your bank’s online banking service. 21.AbaNinja does not store these login details. The temporary bank connection is available from the free Starter subscription onwards.
Manual replacement of bank files
If there is no permanent or temporary connection with your bank, most banks offer the option to export account transactions. You can then import these account transactions (CAMT file) into 21.AbaNinja. Payment orders (PAIN file) can also be exported manually from AbaNinja and uploaded via your bank’s online banking service. This saves you the trouble of manual reconciliation. File import and export is available from the free Starter subscription onwards.
Here you’ll find an overview of the banks for which we offer permanent and temporary integrations. We’re constantly working to offer bank integrations with further financial institutions. If you can’t find your bank on the list, you can import and export your account transactions and payment orders via files.
